Tips & General Information Your publishing proposal should include a concept outline, chapter-by-chapter summary, target market, a brief biography, key selling points, an indication of similar books on the market and how your proposal is different to others on the market. Also include suggested specifications including preferred format (page size), number of words and pages, number of photos and illustrations and preferred presentation (B&W or colour). No fiction or children’s books please.
