Bundaberg Writers’ Club

The Bundaberg Writers’ Club was founded to allow people interested in writing to meet, chat, practise their craft, solve problems, and to try out ideas. Since the club’s establishment, members have been actively involved in the community – presenting literary events like the annual WriteFest, supporting young writers with the YOW awards, taking part in the region’s October CRUSH Festival, and finding as many ways to think and act laterally as we can. Long distance members welcome: the club’s long distance members come from Tasmania, NSW, Miriam Vale, Townsville, Murgon, Central Western Queensland. Our Aim: To bring together a group of people who have a love of writing and, together, to foster and develop this art.
