Reads manuscripts in January each year, so manuscripts should arrive by 15 December. Only reads completed, book-length manuscripts and will make no decisions on a sample chapter and synopsis alone. Publishes 50% fiction and 50% poetry. Will also consider non-fiction submissions but requires that authors contact prior to submitting. Suggests prospective authors read an existing title before submitting, which will give a guide to how ‘literary excellence’ is interpreted.

FAW Bayside is a regional branch of the Fellowship of Australian Writers (VIC) Inc. The group meets at 8pm on the third Wednesday of each month.
