Educational Lending Right Scheme

Educational Lending Right (ELR) operates as an Administrative Scheme and is administered by the Government Office for the Arts. ELR makes payments to eligible Australian creators and publishers on the basis that income is lost from the availability of their books in educational libraries (school, TAFE and university libraries). ELR also supports the enrichment of Australian culture by encouraging the growth and development of Australian writing and publishing.
