The NSW Writers’ Centre Varuna Fellowship is open to writers in any genre who have a manuscript that is ready for the next stage of development. The winning writer receives a one-week residential fellowship at Varuna, the Writers’ House. Entrants must be members of the NSW Writers’ Centre.

The P&C Journal features educational issues involving public schools. Topics of interest: education, public education, parent issues as they relate to public schooling. The Federation of Parents and Citizens Associations of New South Wales is commonly known as “P&C Federation”. P&C Federation was established in 1922 and was incorporated in 1976 by an Act of the New South Wales Parliament.

Whitley Awards are presented for outstanding publications (print or electronic) containing a significant amount of information on the Australasian region fauna. More than one medal may be given each year. The prize may be withheld if submissions are of insufficient standard.
