The Katharine Susannah Prichard (KSP) Writers’ Centre was established in 1985 to promote and nurture West Australian writing and writers, and continue the memory of Katharine Susannah Prichard. Australian Plays Transform (APT) is Australia’s national play development, publication and licensing organisation. The core activity of the Melbourne Writers’ Theatre is script development, which is furthered by means of panel discussions, readings and workshopping of plays by professional directors and actors. Sisters in Crime (SINC) Australia grew out of a shared interest in women’s crime writing. Members are writers, publishers, students, academics and booksellers but most are enthusiastic readers and viewers of women’s crime on the page and screen. Discounts are offered at regular events as well as a 10% discount at selected bookshops. Its website features news, reviews, details of events and competitions and member-only sections for event reports and blogs.

Screen Australia is a Federal Government agency charged with supporting Australian screen development, production and promotion.
