The Katharine Susannah Prichard (KSP) Writers’ Centre was established in 1985 to promote and nurture West Australian writing and writers, and continue the memory of Katharine Susannah Prichard. The Centre achieves this by presenting a rich literary program each year that includes Writers In Residence (including international), workshops, writing groups, guest speakers, competitions and self contained writers’ retreat accommodation.

The core activity of the Melbourne Writers’ Theatre is script development, which is furthered by means of panel discussions, readings and workshopping of plays by professional directors and actors. The State Library of NSW collects and preserves materials and evidence relating to our place in the world and makes them accessible to everyone in New South Wales and beyond. The Library exists in order to support and encourage research, debate, conversation, inspiration, learning and enjoyment.
Sisters in Crime (SINC) Australia grew out of a shared interest in women’s crime writing. Members are writers, publishers, students, academics and booksellers but most are enthusiastic readers and viewers of women’s crime on the page and screen. Discounts are offered at regular events as well as a 10% discount at selected bookshops. Screen Australia is a Federal Government agency charged with supporting Australian screen development, production and promotion. Screen Australia was established under the Screen Australia Act 2008 and from 1 July 2008 took over the functions and appropriations of its predecessor agencies, the Australian Film Commission (AFC), the Film Finance Corporation Australia (FFC) and Film Australia Limited.
Formed in 1991 to promote romance writing in Australia, and to help aspiring authors achieve publishing success. Supports over 700 members including writers from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom. RWA has become internationally recognised and respected by both category and mainstream publishers of romance.
